What is the surface on your field?
Our surface is covered with SOF-Step 200. SOF-Step 200 is a revolutionary synthetic turf, designed to duplicate the playing conditions of real grass. SOF-Step 200 surfaces deliver optimal performance and provide ideal playing conditions all year long. SOF-Step 200 fibers are made from a polyethylene and polypropylene blend, treated and tufted into a unique porous surface backing. Specially engineered equipment places each individual grass fiber in a pattern that emulates real grass. The patented hybrid fiber is strong, smooth, soft, and forgiving.
The infill is made from ground rubber and surrounds each SOF-Step 200 fiber like natural earth holds a blade of grass. The infill provides a non- compactable, resilient, natural earth feel. The interaction between the synthetic grass fibers and the patented ground rubber infill system delivers the ultimate footing for all athletes. It looks like grass, feels like grass and plays like grass.
